My name is Sarah, I’m a mum of grown up twin boys.  My first experience of classes was when I took my 6 month old sons to our local Jolly Melodies Music classes (then known as Music with Mummy) and we all fell in love with the energy, singing, music, the classes were so much fun.  When my boys started school in 2004, I decided I’d start running my own classes in Burnham-on-sea & Bridgwater.

Twenty two years later and I’ve not looked back!. It’s a real privilege to interact with so many wonderful families and be a part of their little ones early years learning and developmental milestones. I absolutely love running my music classes, singing and teaching the babies and children our lovely songs and topics is just pure joy. Music and singing is a huge part of my life and sharing my passion with so many families is absolutely the most amazing gift of all.

My classes are run in 2 different locations – Bridgwater (Monday mornings) and Burnham-on-sea (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Classes are friendly & welcoming, structured, interactive and educational. Spaces are limited so advance booking is essential.

Jolly Babies (suitable from birth) – our super friendly classes are ideally suited to young babies wanting to explore their little world around them.  Using a combination of singing with Makaton, musical movement & dance, small age appropropriate instruments such as baby maracas, seasound drums, bells plus much more, incorporated with our lovely sensory props such as our beautiful parachutes, scarves, finger puppets, bubbles and many more.  It’s a great way to bond with your baby whilst making other adult friends with babies similar ages.

Jolly Toddler (suitable from 12 months) classes are lively and fun, focusing on language, social skills, building confidence and developing a love of music and singing.  Using our many different topics (toys, pets, transport, light) and musical concepts (loud & soft, fast & slow), using singing with makaton, musical movement & dance, percussion instruments and sensory props to enhance your little ones learning.

Jolly Independent! (3 and 4 year olds) classes are the next stage after Jolly Toddlers.  They encourage independence skills, preparing the children for school.  Using our many story based topics e.g. sleeping beauty & carnival of the animals, the children act out parts of the story using percussion, musical movement, dress up and fun props to enhance their learning.

Themed Parties – we do love a great party!  Several times a year, I run different themed parties including Pumpkin, Christmas, Easter Egg hunt and Summer parties such as dinosaur, jungle and many more.  In addition, I also run Saturday specials once a month for all the family to enjoy.  To check out these, please click on to the book now link for details.

I also provide sessions to early years providers such as nurseries, pre-schools, childminders and centres with disabilities.  Each session is individually tailored for every setting and every class, making these classes unique and personal to everyone that attends.

As well as running my own Music classes, I am also a Licensor and have my own team of Class Leaders running their own classes in Somerset & Devon.
