About My Classes

JOLLY BABIES- Really gentle, calm sessions; suitable for the littlest ones. We will sing a mixture of our own unique Jolly Melodies songs and some familiar favourites- and each session includes action songs, lovely stimulating sensory props suitable for tiny hands, percussion time with instruments, some gentle dancing songs, and we’ll wind down with some lovely listening time with bubbles. Every song we sing in class has developmental benefits for your baby- whether it be reaching, core strengthening, visual tracking or social skills. We focus on developing key gestures like waving, clapping, pointing, and nodding, and the sessions provide a wonderful opportunity to help your baby develop their hand/eye co-ordination, fine motor skills, and promote bonding with care-givers. Age birth – 15 months.

JOLLY TODDLERS- Fun, educational music and movement classes with a different fun theme each half-term, no two sessions are the same! Our music, songs, and activities are linked to this topic and provide early introductions to musical concepts such as rhythm, pitch, and tempo. Gentle learning objectives guide little ones on their musical journey, all at their own pace. We’ll sing, we’ll dance, we’ll bang the drum and shake the maracas and we will smile and laugh ALOT! Rhythm will develop as will confidence and independence, and we practice those all-important listening and concentration skills too. Age 15 months – 4 years.

My classes are kept small enough to feel all-inclusive and friendly, and to enable me to really get to know, and therefore get the very best from your individual child. Because class sizes are small, spaces are limited and so advance booking is essential. You can book your space by clicking the ‘Book A Class’ button below.

I offer a 50% discount for siblings, and classes are FREE for a baby attending Jolly Toddlers with an older sibling, until their first birthday.

My class timetable is below, and classes take place at Awbridge Village Hall, on the outskirts of Romsey. Car parking is free and plentiful, there is a children’s play park on site, a playing field for little ones to stretch their legs, picnic tables for your summer picnics after class, a zip line, and a wildlife sanctuary with walking trails (spot the ‘lions’ in the woods!) I can’t wait to see you at class!
