The Jolly Melodies Music Company (formerly Music With Mummy) is a fun session for you and your child to enjoy an introduction to music, songs and instruments together in a friendly, social environment which has been running successfully nationwide since 1992. Our classes are designed to encourage many things including listening and social skills – so essential not only in music but in all other areas of learning. Children can develop a sense of rhythm, which will also help with learning and speech development. Watch your child grow in confidence as they come each week and take part in our gentle, interactive classes. They also give parents the opportunity to meet other local parents with children of similar ages, and our classes sizes are small, relaxed and informal.

JOLLY BABIES encourages early social skills, bonding between baby and parent and early speech development and are suitable from birth to crawling.

JOLLY BABIES MOVING ON classes are for ‘in-betweenie’ babies who are crawling and taking first steps. These are more interactive for babies who’s drive at this stage is to explore and become more sociable with others.

JOLLY TODDLERS classes are for confident walkers to 4 years old and follow a structured programme of pre-school music education . They take the form of a series of weekly sessions lasting 30 minutes with small numbers per group. Classes are relaxed and informal, and FUN! The music is drawn from a mix of old favourites and songs that are unique to our delightful programme.

Hi – I’m Fran Briscoe and am mum to three lovely, lively boys. Originally from Zimbabwe, I have lived in the UK for the past 26 years (although you’d never know from my strong Zimbabwean accent!) With a corporate background prior to having children, I re-trained as a Montessori teacher in 2009 and my speciality age group is with children from birth to six. I ran Parent & Toddler sessions at a Montessori Pre-School for many years and delighted in encouraging the parents to take a step back and observe their children to allow them to reach their full potential. I have been teaching Jolly Toddlers and Jolly Babies classes in Windsor since 2016, after first falling in love with the programme having taken my eldest son (then second and third!) to classes over a decade before. My classes compliment my Montessori training beautifully by encouraging independence, self-esteem and concentration, and by enabling children to develop important listening and speech skills whilst enjoying a fun and educational introduction to music. I’m so lucky to be able to do what I really LOVE – working with children – and each day I’m reminded how lucky I am when I see their happy smiles and am able to share in their early learning journeys.

About Our Classes

CHRISTMAS TERM BOOKINGS NOW OPEN: Our new term of friendly, small-sized classes runs from 4th November for 7 weeks, and bookings are now open (just click on the orange ‘Book A Class’ button below).

FIFTY PERCENT DISCOUNT for siblings and multiple kiddies.

FREE for babies attending with an older sibling until their first birthday.

FEES are payable in advance for the half term and the cost per half hour session is £6.50.

LIMITED PAYG spaces available in some classes, upon enquiry.

CHILDMINDER and PRE-SCHOOL private classes can be arranged.
